Flared Mahogany and Painted Stairs

This stunning flared staircase with mahogany treads and handrail is a gorgeous feature when you enter this hall. The first section of this staircase is flared and cut string. It starts with a mahogany curtail step and scroll complete with painted turned scroll balusters.
They also used mahogany turned newels and painted spindles throughout the stairs and landing area.
As you can see from the picture taken looking down the staircase, flaring the staircase really enhances the presences of the stairs in this large hallway.
